Andrew Symonds - all grace.

How weird is having him commentating while his own team is playing?!

No one seems to be posting about the ICC championship!!

I watched the Blackcaps game on Monday against South Africa, it was AWESOME!

A captain’s innings from Stephen Fleming (89 runs, he currently has the best batting stats of the the championship) and decisive bowling performances (Patel - currently has the second best bowling stats of the championship, Mills - currently has the 4th best bowling stats of the championship, & Oram - 7th best bowling stats of the championship) earned the BLACKCAPS a comprehensive 87-run victory over South Africa in their first ICC Champions Trophy group game.

Man-of-the-match Fleming was the mainstay of the BLACKCAPS innings after his side was inserted by Proteas captain Graeme Smith.

The skipper overcame that decision, and the injury-enforced absence of Shane Bond and Scott Styris, with a knock of 89 to provide the cornerstone of his team’s 195 all out from 45.4 overs.

The total may have been lower than expected, but the BLACKCAPS attack, inspired by devastating spells from Kyle Mills, Jacob Oram and Jeetan Patel, cut through the South African order.

HELLO! I'm Jasmin :)

I only just discovered that there were fellow cricket-obsessed people on livejournal, and I am very excited! :) I am from New Zealand, and despite their disapointing loss to South Africa in the first test Last Night they still have my 100% support! :)

So what is everyone's opinions on the Australia vs. Bangladesh test at the moment?! Personally i think its almost cruelty-to-Bangladesh! :( I feel sorry for them!

Hey *waves to people*, I found out about this community, and thought it looked kinda cool so I joined (hope you don't mind!). So I only got into cricket this summer after my dad sat me down and told me to watch it- and I got hooked! Yep there are some lovely men in cricket- Flintoff, Harmy, G.Jones, Pieterson-but my heart belongs to Vaughan. He's just so lovely! Anyways I got to go and see the last day of the Old Trafford Test which was pretty amazing- worth getting up at 6.00 am for! So i hope this serves as a sufficient intro- heres to cricket!

Hi there! I've gotten utterly hooked on the Ashes, and no doubt you're gonna hate me for being such a girl - but there are sooo many BABES! My fave has to be Vaughan - or Virgil as he's also known ;). So nice to meet you!
